IIRC, the Cannon main character from Morrowind was an outsider Dark Elf, who later goes to Solstheim.
In Skyrim, the Dragonborn goes to Solstheim as well.

If the cannon Nerevarine was a dark elf, that means s/he could still be alive in Skyrim.

No. The Nerevarine, the character of Morrowind, has no cannon race like every other hero.
Morrowind was set in Vvardenfell and went to Solstheim in a DLC, Bloodmoon.

He is rumored to be in Akavir but it is not confirmed if he is currently there or his current position IIRC.

The Nerevarine went to Akavir after the events of Morrowind, but due to keeping the positive effects of Corprus, he cannot die of old age or disease, and is one of the best fighters on Tamriel, so who knows what he is doing now. It would be interesting if they met, but I do not think either Hero could participate in another Event, because, if I recall correctly, there is only one Hero for each Prophecy, and each Event is preceded by a Prophecy. Without the Hero, there is no Event.

I agree, Vivec>Talos. Vivec was the Thief of the World, or Thief of the Universe, one of those two, and I potentially altered time (hinted at in his Sermons) an in one way, made almost a complete new timeline. Vehk the mortal killed me, Vehk the God did not. Plus, he stuck his 'milk finger' down someone's throat in his Sermons, and banished Azura during his own trial, and just left. Tiber Septim got Barenziah pregnant, and made a Mage make her have a miscarriage. Ysmir Wulfharth was reportedly killed by Vivec in one Nordic account, and the Underking, while Zurin Arctus was badass, never did anything as badass as Vivec. When Resdayn was invaded one time, he taught all of the Dunmer how to breathe underwater, and flooded the place, killing off the invaders. Of course, tese achievements pale compared to mine.

I find that the easiest way to get a female of any race to is to give them a ring or necklace enchanted with Damage or Drain Fatigue. Endless hours of fun.
